ABSEILING
If its hanging from a thin rope hundreds of feet in
the air you like, but with breathtaking views, you'll
love abseiling in the Blue Mountains. There are many
organised tour and adventure groups who can assist
you too, including group tours designed specifically
for your group.
CANYONING
Canyoning in the Blue Mountains has it all for the
outdoor enthusiast. Hiking, swimming, abseiling and
rockclimbing make up this exciting adventure sport.
There are a tremendous and diverse array of rock slopes
and canyons in the Blue Mountains. There are hundreds
of deep and narrow canyons, some up to 60 metres deep
and only 1 or 2 metres wide. Some canyons may involve
abseiling through serious waterfalls.
MOUNTAINBIKING & CYCLING
Hundreds of enthusiasts regularly lap up the beauty

ROCKCLIMBING
The Blue Mountains is a huge sandstone plateau. In
places, the plateau has been eroded by rivers and
streams to form an almost endless diversity of crags
and climbing styles from one-pitch sport crags to
multipitch trad routes.
